The people behind 9x12 Mailer Designer

Software for community mailers, built by people who have actually laid out one at midnight before a print deadline.

What 9x12 Mailer Designer does

9x12 Mailer Designer is a workspace for designers who publish local 9×12 community mailers. You set up the front and back ad grid, price each placement, and open the edition for sale. Local businesses reserve a spot, and after your turnaround window their artwork is generated automatically from the offer and details they provided. Clients can request up to four redesigns, approve the final ad, and every placement ships with a trackable QR code so both sides can see scans, unique visitors and device breakdowns. When the edition is full, you export a print-ready sheet for your printer.

Who it is for

It is built for independent graphic designers and small publishing shops who sell advertising in a neighborhood mailer and are tired of chasing artwork over email. It also serves the restaurants, salons, contractors and other local businesses who buy those spots and want a simple portal to book, approve and track their ads. Each designer gets a completely separate workspace, so campaigns, clients and pricing never mix.

Who builds it

9x12 Mailer Designer is built and maintained by a small team based in Chicago with a background in print design and local advertising sales. We run our own community mailer, which is where every feature starts. Questions or ideas? Reach us at hello@neighborlypost.com.
